EEE Alumni Reunion cum EGM
EEE alumni reminisce the good old times at the EEE Alumni Reunion-cum-Extraordinary General Meeting
Nostalgia and excitement filled the air as over 200 School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) alumni gathered on home ground for the inaugural EEE Alumni Reunion-cum-Extraordinary General Meeting. Organised by the EEE Alumni Association, the two-day event was held at NTU’s Yunnan Garden Campus on 24 March.
Alumni indulged in scrumptious food coupled with various engaging activities including seminars, escape games, karaoke sessions, laboratory and scuba try-outs, and the memorable overnight camp at Nanyang Auditorium.
Participants embarked on a thrilling hunt for clues hidden in the campus as part of the indoor and outdoor escape games. The mobile application developed by final year students was put to good use in the outdoor game. Alumni reminisced the good old times as they travelled down memory lane comprising various familiar spots in NTU.
Learning never stops for these alumni who eagerly attended the technology seminars conducted by NTU Board of Trustees member Mr Inderjit Singh (EEE/1985), Professor Huang Guangbin, and Assistant Professors Amal Chandran and Andy Khong. The enriching itinerary also included the Extraordinary General Meeting to gather inputs from alumni. Changes were proposed to the constitution of the Alumni Association to keep up with the times.
Besides singing their hearts out at the karaoke sessions , some alumni also stretched their muscles at the scuba try-outs at the Sports & Recreation Centre’s swimming pool under the guidance of professionals. The positive experience was also sweetened with the overnight camp at the Nanyang Auditorium. The event was a resounding success with alumni already looking forward to the next event.
